If you’ve read Marketing Indieworld (and if you haven’t, why not?), you already know that the greatest marketing and promotion tool for Indie authors is your network. That network includes both readers and other authors who not only support your book by buying and reviewing them but sharing news about your writing with their networks.
Toward that end, I belong to several writer’s groups and I’ve recommended a few of them in Marketing Indieworld. Today, I’d like to highlight the authors in one of those groups that is organized by my co-author, Carole P. Roman. Carole, with her contacts in New York and Hollywood, has organized the group to provide books for the swag bags handed out to celebrities at the Emmy’s and Oscars. An important feature for those included in the group is that they consistently support other authors through a variety of efforts, including engaging with them on social media, promoting their books through posts, attending launch parties, inviting other authors to contribute to promotional messaging, and reviewing.
Today, I’d like to share a little about the authors who are part of this group and I encourage anyone reading this post to select a few of their books to add to your own library. In the coming days, I’ll craft posts highlighting an individual author, with more details about them, their writing, and advice to starting writers.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Witches Protection Program
Wes Rockville, a disgraced law enforcement agent, gets one last chance to prove himself and save his career when he’s reassigned to a 232-year-old secret government organization.
>Witches Protection Program.
His first assignment: uncover a billion-dollar cosmetics company’s diabolical plan to use witchcraft for global domination, while protecting its heiress Morgan Pendragon from her aunt’s evil deeds. Reluctantly paired with veteran protector, Alastair Verne, Wes must learn to believe in witches…and believe in himself.
Filled with adventure and suspense, Michael Okon creates a rousing, tongue-in-cheek alternate reality where witches cast spells and wreak havoc in modern-day New York City.
